Rental Terms & Conditions

Booking Agreement

By booking a rental with OceanDrive Boats, you agree to these terms and conditions. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.

Age Requirements

• Primary renter must be at least 21 years old
• Valid government-issued photo ID required at check-in
• Children under 13 must wear life jackets at all times on deck
• Adult supervision required for all minors

Capacity Limits

Maximum capacity is 7 passengers including children. This limit is strictly enforced for safety and legal compliance. Exceeding capacity will result in trip cancellation without refund.

Payment Schedule

• Full payment required at time of booking
• All payments processed securely through Stripe
• Major credit cards accepted (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
• No cash payments accepted

Additional Fees

• Cleaning fee may apply for excessive mess or damage
• Late return fee: $100 per hour or portion thereof
• Fuel surcharge may apply for extended trips outside standard routes

Pricing

All prices are listed in USD and include captain, fuel, safety equipment, and basic amenities. Prices are subject to change based on fuel costs, seasonal demand, and special events.

Check-in Process

• Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled departure
• Valid photo ID required for all adult passengers
• Safety briefing mandatory before departure
• Late arrivals may result in shortened trip duration

Captain Authority

The captain has absolute authority over the vessel and all passengers. Failure to follow captain's instructions may result in immediate return to dock without refund. Captain's decisions regarding safety and weather are final.

Prohibited Items & Activities

• No smoking anywhere on the vessel
• No illegal drugs or excessive alcohol consumption
• No glass containers (safety hazard)
• No fishing equipment (not a fishing charter)
• No pets unless pre-approved
• No loud or disruptive behavior

Liability Waiver

All passengers participate at their own risk. By booking, you acknowledge that boating activities involve inherent risks and agree to hold OceanDrive Boats harmless from any injuries or damages that may occur during your rental.

Insurance Coverage

• Vessel is fully insured for operational coverage
• Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings
• Medical insurance is the responsibility of each passenger
• Travel insurance recommended for trip protection

Damage Responsibility

Passengers are responsible for any damage to the vessel or equipment caused by negligence or misuse. Damage costs will be charged to the credit card on file.

Weather Policy

Safety is our top priority. Trips may be cancelled or modified due to weather conditions including but not limited to: storms, high winds, rough seas, or other unsafe conditions as determined by the captain.

Route Modifications

Routes and destinations may be modified based on weather, sea conditions, or other factors beyond our control. We will always strive to provide the best possible experience within safety parameters.
